In 2023, Shorty’s Fencing completed a full fencing installation at 739 Flora Avenue in Winnipeg, supporting the Flora House children and youth program. This project combined wood fencing, chain link fencing, and custom gate installation to create a secure, long-lasting space for community programming.

This installation highlights how professionally built fencing can enhance safety, privacy, and usability for organizations serving children and families.

This project included both 6-foot pressure-treated wood fencing and black chain link fencing, designed to meet the needs of a high-traffic community space. All fencing was installed using galvanized steel posts, direct driven 4 feet deep to withstand Manitoba weather conditions and ensure long-term durability.

The wood fence portion included over 200 feet of pressure brown treated lumber fencing, built for both strength and appearance.
