Shorty’s Fencing is proud to have completed a commercial chain link fencing project for the Little Saskatchewan First Nation School and Health Centre in central Manitoba. This project focused on installing durable, secure fencing solutions to support essential community infrastructure, including education and healthcare facilities.
Located on the Little Saskatchewan 48 reserve, Little Saskatchewan First Nation (Sas-ka-chew-wa-niiz in Anishinabe) is an Ojibway community situated between Lake Manitoba and Lake Winnipeg. Community investments like this fencing project play an important role in maintaining safe, functional spaces for residents, students, and staff.
Shorty’s Fencing has had the privilege of working on multiple projects within Little Saskatchewan First Nation over the years, including fencing work for the health centre, daycare facilities, and additional projects completed under Jordan’s Principle initiatives. These ongoing partnerships reflect a shared commitment to safety, accessibility, and long-term infrastructure support within the community.
This project involved the installation of 4-foot and 6-foot industrial chain link fencing, designed to provide long-term performance in high-use environments such as schools and health centres.
